Music Choice channels not available

WHy are my music choice channels not working? Havent worked for a few days now...

Music choice channels have not worked for months. Technicians came out and said the problem is outside and they would have to dig up a huge area.  I cannot believe that the problem cannot be fixed another way.   Message on screen says This channel should be available,shortly.

That is a generic message meaning the box cannot tune into the signal. Do you have issues with any other channels? Either that one frequency is too weak, or the frequency is not working at all. Do you have neighbors you can ask to see if it works on their boxes?
