MLB now shows up in "Free to Me" But subscription error msg

Okay so now that Baseball season is here MLB channels appeared like magic in the "Free to Me" guide area.  But when I went to see if I was going to be able to see them.  I got various messages such as:  "Recent subscription change not able to view contact your carrier" (BTW I have not made any changes as what I have already costs too much) or "Blacked out in your area".  I get the feeling that comcast placed these "sports channels" in the "free to me" guide area to try to get people to buy the subscription to MLB.  I have seen this happen with the NHL, NFL, NBA sports channels over the last year.  If they are not going to be "Free" to the customer base they should not be placed there.  BTW I have found the sports games that I want to watch on channels that I am already paying for via the extra sports surcharge that is placed on everyone bills.  Yep not happy with what I keep seeing from comcast.
