I'm in the same boat. I already have a Gaia account. For $9.99/ month I'd rather have the full service I get from Gaia rather than the limited service available on xFinity.
Found the answer on Gaiam support page. It seems they are two separate accounts/subscriptions. This doesn't make much sense to me as each is $9.99 per month, one is full access to the service, the other is only access to the tv channel.
I have this same question. I just switched to xfinity, and I have a paid account with Gaia. On their website it says:
"We have a Partnership with Amazon Prime Video as well as Comcast/Xfinity/Fios. Please reach out directly to them directly to learn more!"
I have tried to use the xfinity support chat feature to ask about this, but none of the selections seemed like they would get me to the correct support team. It seems geared more toward troubleshooting issues with the services.
