Hurricane Outage - Another Question

Has Comcast responded to any of the messages posted here about outages?  I live in Central NJ (near Flemington) and have had no service since Saturday.  The message on my TV screen says "one moment This channel should be available shortly".  I did call in and after waiting for 30 minutes to speak to someone, I was told that Comcast knows about the problem and is working on it but there is no estimate for when it will be resolved.

I live in 08824 Central NJ area, Internet and TV went out Saturday. Got the same message on the TV too. Reps say Internet and TV should be up by 7 pm tonight but I doubt this. I'm tempted to call up Verizon and order DSL as a backup!!

Contrary to the looks of this site it is mainly a customer to customer help forum with limited monitoring by Comcast employees, so there probably won't be any direct responses on the forums from Comcast.
