How to pause and go back

I was watching a channel and missed something the guest said.  How do I stop and go back or rewind to hear it?

If you have a DVR, just hit the rewind button. Depending on the remote and type of software (X1 or not), there is also a 15-second review option. If you don't have a DVR, you are out of luck.

You could've used the rewind button on the remote
