So currently on day 7 of having no cable TV via my HDHomeRun.
In the course of troubleshooting Comcast has:
- replaced the cablecard
- blamed the issue on multi-day outages in my area
- today they replaced the drop to my house.
So now the HDHomeRun reports everything is good:
It took an hour with a tech to get the Card Validation to say success.
However, I still don't get any channels when I do a channel scan.
Looking through various menus I see this:
Where it says the cable card is not staged.
I assume this should say "Ready" (according to HDHomeRun troubleshooting - https://forum.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=65715&sid=15eac35ef7253eb0566cbb198a6a846a...
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue. The tech tonite on the phone gave up and suggested another tech come out to the house. Is this a bad cable card or bad setup on Comcast end or something else.
Last time I had an issue a couple of months back the only way to get it resolved was to post here and then have a knowledgeable tech contact me and work on the issue. Hopefully, I get lucky again.
