To chime in, we've been watching Game of Thrones in HD on demand, but for specific episodes, what's available varies between X1 boxes in the same house:
This is ridiculous. It is very clearly NOT an issue with "what HBO has given us," which is the default excuse. And it is NOT what I'm paying Comcast a very large monthly fee for. It feels like Comcast is trying to game me into paying for HD content I've already paid for. Fortunately I can jump to the Xbox to watch the affected episodes in HD, but I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO.
Hello all, I show that all S3 Ep6 has been added to your on demand menu in HD and SD. We are still working with HBO to have Ep5 in SD/HD as well.

We have informed our on demand team of this issue and hope to have it resolved with "HBO" soon.
Hello all, I do see that "Game of Thrones" S3 Ep5 and Ep6 only have the SD version available at this time. All "GOT" content is uploaded by HBO not Comcast, if you would like to see these episodes posted in HD please reach out to the network and request that the add it to your on demand menu.
