When I have my dvr record the flash. I see tiling on fast scenes or scenes with lots of color. Tonights episode Flash Time was really bad near the end.

When I record the black list. Sometimes the playback is stuttery.

But I record lots of other shows that have zero issues, no stutter, no tiling. But its always these same shows.

call 800-Comcast and select TV an ask agent to do the Interactive Troubleshooting Guide (Einstein).

do a system refresh.

i do it every other night because this service cannot be trusted to work correctly

xfinity button, settings, help, system refresh

Thanks. All I had to do was say system refresh and it brought it up. I'll try that over the next week see if it helps.

Voice thing is one of the best things they've done.

It hasn't improved. I been holding off on swapping the box. Because i'll lose my record list which is around 60+ shows.

One thing I noticed is that NBC recordings tend to have issues. But CBS recordings never have issues.

The CW recordings always get blocks on fast moving scenes. I only record the DC shows there.

The preimum networks, hbo, starz, shotime. I almost never have issues recording shows on those.

I have no idea how a network can effect the recording, but it does.

Right now on live TV. DiscoveryHD is all pixilated, not watchable. Fox News HD does this as well. But then is fine for days at a time.

This stuff been going on for over a year.

Your recording whatever the channel is broadcasting/showing on the dvr. If a channel is pixelating, it will record that way. Channels come in on different frequencies, what affects may not affect others. Do you want assistance getting a tech out?
