In the meantime, while waiting for the tech. Check your house for splitters. Your dvr is way out of spec but in comparison your modem is well within specs. That means there’s something inside that needs repaired. You only have a modem and 2 cable boxes, see if you have extra splitters that can be removed to get you back within specs.

Continued pixelating/tiling on Smithsonian and AXStv

There's been a continuing problem with extreme pixelation/tiling on the Smithsonian channel. It has been going on for the last couple of months. Just yesterday I discovered that it also does it on AXStv. The rest of my lineup seems to be okay but then again I haven't sat down and clicked through each and every one. It happens on both of my tv's.

Along with using the help feature, I've done all the troubleshooting that Comcast suggests, multiple times. Nothing works. I finally spoke with an agent and it's been arranged for a tech to come to my home over the weekend. Seems to me that this is something that needs to be corrected on Comcast's end.

Seattle/Tacoma area. Has anyone else had problems with these channels?
