Cable Box fails to boot- not working-no help from call center

Hi!

3 days back my cable box stopped working. It keeps trying to download update & tries to boot up, but is not successful.

First time I called help desk, they just asked me to wait another day and try calling back

Second day, I called they said this may be due to an update being pushed and that my box may not be able to reboot again. Their suggestions a) call technician at home - but I may have to pay charges for it (even if it's not my fault), or b) exchange my cable box

 

I chose option b) & after standing in line for a good 45 min yesterday, I exchanged my cable box.

As I tried it, the new cable box still doesn't work.

 

At this point, I'm fed up with calling the call center and the response I'm getting from comcast. For someone who's paid all his bills in time, and is a long term customer, I don't expect this sort of customer service. Even for comcast, it seems to be a new low...

 

I'm looking for someone who can resolve this issue for me- once in for all.
