Account update problem

I am have the 'caught in the middle of updating your account' screen that won't let me see Center ice. This has been happening for a week now.  Many hours on phone and a tech to the house.  Another is coming tomorrow morning.  I can't believe this is not something that can be resolved but equipment was switched out, and many 'pushes' and resets done at HQ.  Any one actually have this resolved?  I am considering cancelling and then having them sign me up again.  I am just suprised that a community as large as Comcast can't find a solution for this.
