thinking of buying 4k smart T.V. Does my current comcast equipment enable me to have the same picture quality or will I need more eqipment or not available at this time?

Re: 4k

First of all the reason for 4K tv is to have a larger screen like 65 inches or larger. Anything less than 50 inches is just a waste of money.

Secondly; there is no 4K programing to be found on OTA (Antenna) or linear cable yet. It could be years because of the political situation.

The only real source for 4K currently is found on high-speed broadband. That either requires a smart tv, or paying extra for boxes that have the apps for 4K or can access others.
