4K capability?

I just purchased a Sony TV. It has a lot of features and 4K. The sales rep said that he thought that Comcast did not have the 4K capability. Do they and what will I need for connection if it is available??

Re: 4K capability?

Currently; even without a Comcast 4K DVR, you should be able to use the built-in apps found on your television.

Use the You Tube app to view 4K videos. There is a 4K heading to click, and also typing "4K", "UHD", or "HDR", while find more offerings. You Tube is free. Typing in "You Tube Red" will find some sample offerings 4K episodes for a paid service. If you have high-speed Internet you can use the tv's remote to watch these apps directly over the Internet.
