I am having a strange yet frustrating issue with the Xfinity Stream app on my 2018 QLED Samsung TV where any shows recorded in the last couple of weeks will not play. Shows recorded in say October playback just fine, but all new shows recorded recently have this same TVAPP-00306 error code that states “This video can not be played. We’ve run into a problem while streaming Some Show”.
When googling this issue, it seems like a similar issue happened back in late June/early July on Roku devices, and now it’s showing up on Samsung Smart TVs.
Anyone else having this same issue? It’s driving me crazy. I’ve attempted to open a ticket with support.
