XFINITY TV App - We've run into a problem while streaming. (Error 100)

I can stream live tv video all day on my PC but often, after watching several hours, it comes to a halt with the following message:  This Video Cannot Be Played    We've run into a problem while streaming. (Error 100) 

 

Is this a bandwidth issue with Comcast?  It's a know issue to them, but surely after 3 years of having it happen, they must have a clue to the cause even though the cure may be out of their control which is obvious.

Just thought I'd +1 this thread as I was having the same issue yesterday evening (happend half a dozen times in a matter of hours)
