 Can you try now, your account was missing the proper rate codes.

The TV App was updated today. Still crashes after every sign in. Wit get error crash report still. So I can report specific apps

The TV App still just won't work. It was updated (1.8.1.107) at the Google Play Store. I uninstalled mine. Installed it again. It still hasn't been fixed for us Samsung Galaxy Tab S Tablet 10.5 owners. With Lollipop 5.0.2 update.. Can someone let the app development team know again. Thank you

Hi ComcastChad - I'm on my 8th person on a tech support call, and mentioned this thread and the "codes." I also mentioned the "Cloud DVR." Nobody can figure it out, and most recently, I was told to restart my phone. I was told I'd get a call back in 2 minutes...30 minutes ago. I'm in Atlanta. Any help?

Your account appears to be set up correctly no@1w and i see completed cloud recordings on your account.  Are you still having issues?

I'm having the same issue. It worked perfectly fine before my service changed (I was an employee, now I have preferred double play with X1) and since the switch, I just get the good news message. 

 

Could you help? 800 number was no help. Thank you so much!

I've downloaded the tv app on my ipad and it used to work fine.  Over the last couple weeks though, I keep getting an error message saying "Subscription Required 12012".  I have the X1 platform and my subsciption should include this service.  Please help.

on a web browser go to www.comcast.com/x1 and hit enter. see what the x1 changes to.

If you get the coverage is limited message it means the service is not avaailable in your area yet

I changed my existing X1 services yesterday and have lost my ability to connect to the Xfinity TV app. I have a feeling that when they updated my account, I somehow lost the coding for the app. I am not in a cloud DVR area, but have been using the live TV app for over 6 months. Last night when I got home, it was giving me the "coverage is limited, blah blah blah". I also received error code 13001 this morning. I am hoping someone may have some advice. I called in last night and they told me to wait 24 hours for my account to be updated. One change to my account is a change in my internet from blast to extreme, which as of this morning did not seem to have taken effect (still receiving blast speeds). Can it really take 24 hours for changes to be updated in the system?

So after 4 hours with customer service last night a very helpful guy named Jim on twitter got my TV app to work again. The only issue now is that I have no local channels and no "good" channels (i.e. ESPNs, NBC Sports, MLB Network, etc.). Hope this can be resolved quickly!

Can someone assist me with this?  I have been working with Support for over a week on this and it is still not resolved.  I am on the phone with Support and have been for an hour. This is not getting anywhere as they keep saying to reinstall the app, power cycle the device, etc.  This is happening on an iPad and an Android phone but no one can seem to fix this.  Can someone please look into this?

Is comcast d shutting down the streaming just for the NBA playoffs? I watched the BRaves game earlier today with no issue...now I cannot stream again???? PLease help!!!!

I have the X1 app in Chicago, IL. Have the update version of the app and I am getting an error code 11005 and that my device can not be added. I have an iPad mini that I use to watch TV on and now I can't. I feel like tech support didn't know what error that code was. Can anyone help me!!!

Our engineers are working on a fix for this issue. It's a provisioning issue that only our tier 3 support teams can resolve.

What is error code 106000.45?

 

It's been making Xfinity TV App crash every 15 minutes like clockwork for the past week or so.

 

I've tried outside wifi spots and same thing happens. I've tried to watch over Verizon's LTE network (reputedly best in nation)  and same thing. 

 

I'm using both a PC and a Samsung Galaxy S5. Same crash every 15 minutes.

 

Any answers?

I am having the same issue with the app. i get error 13001 as well as a message tht says "Good News! Xfinity TV is available in your area.... I have a X1 box with cloud service, but I'm not able to add devices (ipad or tablet) in the xfinity tv app.

You need to have the cloud codes added to your account to access the TV app. You can chat online or call 800-xfinity.

 I am having exactly the same problem, with the only difference that I have a X1 non-dvr cable box. The live streaming app stopped working today providing error code 13001, then it provided the same note as shown in message 8 of this thread:

I am having the same challenge with my Xfinity TV app fpr my iPad.  This app has worked fine, but as of the last few weeks shows the following message:

I have unistalled and reinstalled the app with no success.  I called Xfinity tech support last night and after being transferred 3 times for a total of 43 minutes on the phone, the representative disconnected me after not being able to solve my problem.  Please help!

I have a similar issue with much the same story as many have posted.  I get the 13001 error message and the welcome screen.  I have spent over 2 hours being transferred to several people with no resolution.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I recently upgraded from a Starter XF package to a Digital Premium package. Unfortunately, Comcast in its infinite wisdom, has decided customers should not be able to see a complete breakdown of what they have ordered or exactly what is in the bundle the customer pays for each month. After my "upgrade" order was accepted, I was no longer able to watch TV until my install appointment when the tech arrived. Apparently they DOWNGRADED my service in the provisioning office and my very patient technician ended up having to swap equipment AND call provisioning three times to get the TV working again. He explained the new cloud service and how it worked, how recordings are stored, and gave an overview of the app for my iPhone. I have tried repeatedly to get it working. I keep getting the 11005 error that is apparently a provisioning problem but no one on the phone seems to be able to fix. I would like to use the app since we have only one TV. And now with so many calls and no transparency in billing I'm waiting for my bill to skyrocket because the codes will still be wrong. I'm starting to miss the old days of a set top box with a 60 channel rotary dial. Although high speed internet is nice to have. Please help.

I've had the same exact experience! I try to sign into the app, it says, "Good news! Xfinity TV is now available in your area...Blablabla." So I called customer service with my error code 13003, was transferred 3 times, then got disconnected when they tried to transfer me to the "app specialist," which is where the 2 former people said they were transferring me to. Anyway, not here to gripe, was just hoping my account could be fixed...thanks!

Thanks for fixing for me! Posted here three days ago, the problem was fixed less than a day later. So much better than calling customer service...I'm definitely going this route for service issues from now on.

Ugh, I went round and round with cusotmer service and then tech service for about 2 months.  They finally got my app to work correctly.  Since then, I could watch TV on my iPad for about 2 months.  

 

Today, there was a new update for the app on my iPad, and now I'm getting the same error again.  Error 12012 - subscription required.  

 

What happened?  Someone please help?

I'm having the same issue, error 1000385 when trying to login to the app on my new iPhone 6S plus . The app on my iPad also has stopped working - same error.

 

xfinity Customer Service is useless!!!

try uninstalling the app and downloading it again. see if that will let you log in. Or before that try it on a laptop or desktop at http://xtv.comcast.net  and if already logged in log out and log back in.

i just tried to go to xtv.comcast.net on my laptop and it timed out. Can't even get into the site.

Yes I can log in to Comcast.net, get my email, and check my account.


i'd try using browser mozilla firefox on your laptop and see if it can login to xtv.comcast.net
