Plug in failure on new tv go

I recently chaged to the new X-finity tv go and while watching videos, the program freezes then I receive a "plugin failure" box on the screen. I have a MACBook with OS X 10.11.6.

did you go to https://tv.xfinity.com/  Does the macbook let you download from teh app store the xfinity TV app?

the probable problem above is that there is no connection to comcast for the set top box to use. What is your situation?

cannot watch any program from my mac for mor than 10 minutes without experiencing plugin failure showing up
