New Customer access

So, I received an email and been told by the rep who I signed up with that I would have access to on-demand movies/shows using the Stream App before my install. I was sitting at a soccer tournament this weekend and figured out I might as well try. Unfortunately, I don;t seem to have access to anything other than a Cricket game. I either needed a subscription or an error would come up. If I am not eligible until the install that is fine (this coming Sunday), but it just seems strange to have been told by 2 separate entities (email from xfinity and the rep) that I could.
