License Issue 3338 message on "Xfinity Stream TV" For All "Go TV" Channels Except ESPN Channels??

I was excited to have the "Xfinity Stream" app because I thought I can mirror from my phone to the TV. I quickly got the "License 3338" error message on every channel except the ESPN channels. Can anybody tell me how I was only able to mirror the ESPN channels but not any others?

you can watch on the smart device screen but not a mirrored screen. you can watch on the TV via a desk/laptop with HDMI if the TV can act as a monitor. Chromecast also works from such a PC using the Chrome browser.

I get the error on my iPad while traveling.  I am not connected to anything, not trying to stream or screen cast to another device or tv.  I just want to watch tv! How do I get to work!

you asked above how to watch TV while not connected to any internet. While connected to the internet before travelling, you can download completed recordings to the iPad or Download on-demand programs that are marked as 'downloadable'.
