Hallmark has no Sound

I’ve noticed recently that The Hallmark Channel has no sound using the xfinity stream app beta on my Roku. It’s the only channel that has no sound. Any ideas?

you posted in the app area are you speaking of no volume on the stream app? if so, have you tried another device? or used a desk/laptop pc to test sound? does the sound appear when playing on your home equipment?

It is only the Roku stream app. If I use my iPhone app, Hallmark streams with sound. There’s also sound when I watch through my home converter box.

do you by chance have the SAP or description audio turned on?

I just bought a Roku yesterday to stream Xfinity on one of our TV's . The Hallmark channel has no sound...all other channels are fine. I noticed others were having this same problem.how can this be corrected?

Same here. No sound on mobile devices or laptop but fine if viewing on tv that it was recorded on.

I have the same problem. I called in about it last week and the useless representative on the phone said it was my box and a tech would have to come look at it, even though I pointed out that many other people had the same problem, so it is not the box. The tech came out and said it was not the box and there was nothing he could do, as I expected.

I’ve only been informed that he is researching. He has been in touch.

He is working on it. Needs research. He keeps me posted though as he is troubleshooting it.

Still researching. Phil is keeping me posted as he troubleshoots and I am sure he will post the fix as soon as he gets it. Keep watching here.

True but he IS RESEARCHING! I know a very little about this tech stuff but it could be a Hallmark feed to ROKU or ROKU feed to comcast or the ROKU product. It takes time to figure it out first and he has been quite responsive so I am just waiting. I am sure he will post a fix once he has it!

I am sure he is working on it!  Phil FIXED mine but mine was on ROKU.  He must need to research other reasons for those that don't cast or stream.  He has been very attentive and diligent in getting it resolved.

No sound for the Hallmark channel while trying to watch a movie which was recorded via DVR. I am using the Xfinity app for Ipad and there is no sound for DVR recordings for this channel, other recordings have sound.

Hallmark channel had no sound for some areas for a day or so (now fixed). any recordings of their programs during that period will not have volume (although captions should work).

I am having this problem too. I can play some Hallmark shows but none of the movies will play with sound. I am trying to stream it when not "in home".

for a few days for some customers the Hallmark channel had no sound. any recordings made during that time will have no sound. watching Hallmark channel now should have sound.

is your current Hallmark channel (in home) playing with sound? while playing the recording on your iPad touch the white icon in lower right of the screen and be sure english is checked.

mid july my wife has been unable to use the stream app on her iPad or phone to watch hallmark channel content she’s recorded. Is there a fix for this? Please advise.

Halmark's signal did not include sound for some time  a month or so ago. If plyaing back those recordings there still will be no audio. turn on captions for the recordings if you like. wish there was a better option.

I have had no sound  on Hallmark channel recordings for months.  And today for example.  Why is the solution only available through private messages?  Can't it be shared with all of us?
