Full screen options

I just got the app. I’m trying to watch one of my recorded shows, but I can’t find an option to set it for full screen. The screen is less than half of my phone screen and it’s very hard to watch it like that. I tried looking at one of these forums, but none of the advice you gave is working for my phone. I tried tilting the screen to get it in landscape mode, but the screen stays exactly where it was. Please tell me what I can do to get it into full screen.

What phone are you using?

adding... it looks like you didn't turn your phone sideways.

run the youtube app on the same phone and when playing a video turn it sideways. does the image rotate on youtube then?
