Error streaming a recording on any mobile platform

 

Once in a while I get cryptic error messages about being unable to stream a recording over the moble apps (Android, Windows browser-based).  I had a new recording that is experiencing that now, it works fine from the X1 living room set top box, but I can't stream it on a mobile device or computer.  I tried multiple computers and devices.  Other recordings are fine.

 

I was able to get diagnostic infomration about the recording with the problem.  This would be best examined by comcast support personnel with access to the recording data.  Perhaps they can determine what it is about this recording that is causing problems.

the recording process of Cloud and Home DVRs is completely separate. The Home DVR is not used to create a Cloud DVR recording, the Cloud DVR records using its own data stream. (indeed you can unplug and disconnect the home DVR and the cloud DVR continues to record). The Scheduler-in-the-cloud does tell each device what/when to record. The cloud DVR function may be 'overloaded' or have system issues (Detroit - Twin Cities area) that have not yet been fully resolved. Also the Cloud DVR will only keep up to 60 hours of programming whereas the home DVR has more hard drive space and may have more recordings at any given time.
