Does straiming YouTube and Netflix through the DVR add to Internet data usage?

The last three months I started streaming YouTube and Netflix through my Xfinity DVR rather than directly via the Internet. I have noticed a disparity in data usage between what my router reports and what Comcast reports on their website. I am not sure if Comcast is adding my streaming through the DVR to my monthly Internet total.  Anyone know for sure?

Yes it does, as does anything falling under “Entertainment apps”.
