DVR'd movie from TCM freezes on my iPad. TV is ok.

DVR'd movie from TCM freezes on my iPad. TV is ok.

DVR'd movie from TCM keeps freezing for a second or two on my iPad.  Keeps doing this.  The same movie is ok on my tv. The freezing problem happens only on my iPad.

 

Can I prevent this in the future? Can I fix the movies I have recorded now?

were you watching a streaming copy of the program from the cloud DVR or were you watching a downloaded copy of the program? did you try on another device like an iphone or android device or on a desk/laptop using a browser?

I think I was watching a streaming copy of the movie from the cloud dvr.  I really don't know what you mean. Sorry. Ok on iPhone, too. No freezing on either iPhone or tv, freezing only on iPad.

 

comcast rep sent a refresh signal. Still freezes on iPad.  He told me to reinstall app on iPad. I wouldn't lose anything. How do you do this?

what version of iOS is your iPad using? did you try turning off the ipad and letting it reboot to see if it improved your network connection? you might want to try downloading the item to your iPad if nothing above helped.
