The Xfinity Stream app worked yesterday, but now I'm getting a connection error message. I can get on the internet still and I'm connected to my wifi at home. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but it still shows a connection error. Any suggestions.
Sorry, does the error occur when you when attempting to watch certain types of content or just from opening the app? Other customers are reporting issues when playing Cloud DVR recordings and wondering if that is your issue. Either way, sorry for the trouble.
The error is when I'm trying to even open the app. Last night I noticed on my tablet the shows taped on my DVR didn't update to the app. This morning I still had the same problem. So I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it hoping it would update. Now the app won't even open.
What type of device are you attempting to use? I see a Pixel and a Nook on your account with your name. Nook isn't supported so that's unlikely to work (see system requirements). However, the Pixel should.
If you give me the device "Friendly name" that may have set up, I can remotely remove it which may clear up the problem.
Hello Comcast Dan,
The app is now working on my tablet again. Whatever issue was going on has resolved itself.
Thank you for you assistance.
That's great to hear. Let's hope it stays resolved!
Streaming any recorded show on my laptop returns error - 102100.43 - what i shappening?
have you tried different browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox). Have you tried using an ethernet connection instead of Wifi for diagnostic testing?
