Channels are missing both website and tablet app

I view Xfinity TV app and Xfinity TV website today and some channels aren't listed on there anymore like 100, 162, 29, 114, and 57. Channel 100 I viewed last night on my tablet until I stopped watching at 9:00 PM. There are other channles not listed on both, but that is just a few. There are a lot still showing up like 5-36 then alot are missing till you get to channel 47 then more from there missing till you get to channel 50. It is happening on both my tablet and computer.

Today these are the only channels...QVC, HSN, JTV, CSPAN 1 2 3, CMT Music, TMC

The ESPN app says that I'm not subscribed to Xfinity

I'm sorry you're having trouble. Question for you and anyone else having this issue... does your home only have DTAs (the smaller set-top boxes rather than a full-featured set-top box with or without DVR) or perhaps no set-top box at all?

 

The technical team is investigating this issue which seems to have increased recently. They have an hypothesis about the root cause but are looking for confirmation on the types of customers impacted.

That's good to know that there aware of this. I just hope it can be fixed soon so I can get back to watching a few of missing channels like FXX which I can't see listed under live TV.

Can you answer my question above?  Do you have a DTA (smaller set-top box)?  I'm trying to find a pattern.

No. Just the basic set top box.

Can´t be a problem with the boxes, I have also the problem. I also only have the smallest box but it can´t have any impact as we don´t use the box for connection. The problem must be with Xfinity and the connection between the service and what is included on demand. I´m using apple tv for demand tv, and right now nothing is working, tried to sign out and sign on again, but it isn´t possible to sign on as when I´m supposed to log on to the xfinity service page it just sais I don´t have the right service!

Apple TV?  Some Comcast/Xfinity services are not available on the Apple TV.  Have you spoken to Comcast customer services?

Many channels are missing on my Xfinity tv app on iPads.  No channels are missing on DVR or set tops.  Please fix as soon as possible.  Thanks.

Are your iPads using the Comcast SSID for wifi?

Yes, both iPads use Comcast SSID for wifi.  As of yesterday evening, the problem has been fixed.

I have been having the same problem for the last couple of weeks. The box is maybe 2 yrs. old, upright style. Xfinity DVR is a separate component. My notebook is PC, my cell phone an Android. For the amount we are billed monthly it would be appreciated to have these channels accessible.

are the numbered channel(s) you are missing on the stream site and the smart devices available on your set top boxes? Do they play normally on your set top boxes?
