I closed an account last year because I was moving to housing that provided internet in their costs already. I am now moving again and need to start a new plan soon. However, since the account is closed the website doesn't allow me to do any update and always shows "Looks like you can't make changes to this plan" when I attempt to shop for a plan.

The best solution right now is to open a private browser and not sign in, you'l lhave an opportunity later in the buyflow to link your account back to your Xfinity ID
