Errors starting agen chat or getting an agent callback

When I log in and try to chat with an agent, I get a blank screen that just says "Xfinity" and "End Chat". No input field. No agent ever appears. When I request a callback, I get a message that says "

We're having some trouble scheduling your callback

Try again or visit our support site for more help."

 

In other areas I get a message that says "Thanks for your purchase, Daniel!
We're getting your account set up. Check back soon to track and activate your services.
As a secondary user, you cannot access restricted areas of My Account". I am NOT the secondary user on the account. I am the ONLY user!

I had the same issues with my account and was never able to chat with an agent. I had to call them (at 1.800.xfinity). Apparently my user name was "lost within their system" and I had to get transfered to the Internet Tech Team.  Thankfully after 25 mins on the phone, the tech was able to reset my user name and I was able to access my account online. Hope that helps!
