Xfinity camera motion detection and recording with notification

Hi,

I am planning to install the xfinity home security system with the xcam latest HD models. I will be subscribing to the 24/7 recording feature. Will the camera detect any motion and send me alerts through the app or other means (similar to Ring, Arlo etc)? Or does it just continue recording the video without any notifications for motions detected?

The cameras will detect motion and record clips, but there is still no way for them to send you a notification.  Big flaw in their system.  Also, no way to create a rule based on the motion detection of the cameras.  Only way to get a notification is with one of the motion detectors, which are fine for inside, but not designed for outside usage.
