I'm trying to install a program called NOMOROBO on my xfinity land line. This is a service to intercept robo calls and divert them from my number. NOMOROBO has an excellent instruction on the web which worked great for my TIME Warner phone but the Xfinity Account Portal on the NOMOROBO setup page doesn't look like anything I've been able to pull up on Xfinity web site. Any body done this on Xfinity?
Works fine. You have to turn on voice2go for the home phone number and then set up selective call forwarding.
Sign into xfinity and go to this link to turn on voice2go
Then goto this link to set up selective call forwarding.
To setup nomorobo, at least for me, it failed on the verify step until I enabled the Voice2Go feature. (Somebody wrote that you need to enable Selective Call Forwarding but I did not do that and I don't think that is what you want. That requires you to specify specific numbers that you want forwarded. But for nomorobo, you need to forward all calls.)
