So new gateway put in last week. A whole lot of mess. Phone service appears to be working. I unstalled and reinstalled the Xfinity connect app and turned on Voice2go. I can make phone calls no problem. I see a notification when an incoming call is ringing at the house on my mobile. I CANNOT answer the call??? Advanced Call forwarding shows my number when I log in to Xfinity Connect Web. One tech said yu have to check Voice2go there but I do not see that as an option.
I have spent hours on the phone and chat with Comcast. Tech support has been utterly useless. They honestly do not understand their own technology or how to use it.
