I have two phone lines coming out from my comcast modem. This is a residential set up.
I have not used them yet (it's a new install), but need to know if there is rollover from line 1 to 2 , if line one is busy will it roll over to line two and vice versa?
If someone calls on line 1, and you are speaking on the phone. Someone else calls line 1, will there be a notification of a new incoming call?
Does residential comcast provide caller ID?
Line one is for your first phone line and line 2 is for a second different line. You have call waiting so it will display on your phone and TV if someone is calling while you are talking. And yes you have caller ID with residential.
GOOD QUESTION. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THAT SOLVED FOR SEVERAL YEARS. HAVE YOU FIGURED OUT IF IT CAN BE DONE- THE ROLLOVER TO THE 2ND LINE? I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT IT'S ONLY AVAILABLE ON BUSINESS LINES.
I'M ALSO TRYING TO GET NOTIFICATION ON MY WIFE'S PHONE WHEN CALLS COME IN. IT ONLY DOES IT ON MY CELL PHONE. ANY THOUGHTS?
