We just went to the simpsons on demand and there is only one show per season back in th '90s. we had all episodes up to now. was there a change in comcast's deal with the Simpsons?

Hi Folks, Yes you are indeed correct we should have all episodes of The Simpsons - looks like there was an issue on the FOX side with making sure the dates were properly extended to cover 2018. Thus they expired 12/31 at 11:59PM EST.
We are working with Fox (FXX) on this issue and hoping to resolve it soon.
A Comcast chat support rep told me yesterday that they removed the Simpsons to make room for other shows... Either way, it's no good.

The content expired and we are currently working with Fox to get this issue resolved, please note that these episodes (Seasons 1-28) are still available online and on mobile devices via the Xfinity Stream portal and app. The current episodes from Season 29 were not affected and are available On Demand.
Exactly. If it's a legal issue, why wasn't it resolved before the new year? If it's a technical issue, how difficult is it to change "2017" to "2018"? Seriously.

I don't understand why this is taking so long, and why when one calls Comcast you get a very different answer.
Stalling in hopes people forget and now changing the ON-DEMAND rules making it so we have to buy the episodes is not going to work.
@AnnPowers - The episodes are free with FXX subscription, are you getting only a Rent/Buy option?
