VOD showing charges on Tivo Bolt when free on XFinity On Demand App
Sometimes when I select a show on my Tivo Bolt and choose "xFinity" as the streaming source, the show comes up with a charge. For example SEAL TEAM 109.
If I fire up the "xFinity" app on my Tivo Bolt and watch the show from there the show is free.
Also when I go to "Streaming Options" xFinity is listed 4 times, 2 are free and 2 with charges:
XFINITY VOD in HD
XFINITY VOD in SD
XFINITY VOD in HD $2.99
XFINITY VOD in SD $1.99
I can choose the first option and watch it for free. However the point is that this is a pain in the rear end, and that it should come up for free when I chose xFinity as the streaming source.
Naturally, I have placed several call to Comcast and Tivo. Tivo says to call Comcast. Comcast tech support is is clueless as well. The only solution tha they can offer is to replace the cable card. I seriously doubt the cable card is the solution and I'm not driving and hour to obtain a new one, plus the added pain of getting it repaired.
