OnDemand Programming 'Disclaimer'

Enough already!  For years Xfinity/Comcast has used this same OnDemand disclaimer at the start of virtually all broadcast and many basic cable network programs: While watching this show, the Fast Forward and other functions may not be available.

It's time to stop insulting the intelligence of viewers.  They know when they see this disclaimer that it means only one thing: While watching these shows, the Fast Forward and other functions definitely won't be available.

Why doesn't Xfinity/Comcast just say this and be done with it?

Not quite true.

You can sometimes fast forward, or back, only during the show. Not during the commercials! Be careful though; if you try Fast forward during a commercial it might actually be fast forwarding the show coming after the commercials.
