On Demand Pricing

So I'm exploring On Demand for the first time. I've found a TV series I'd like to watch.  Up top, in the header, it says Free with Subscription. Next to each episode, it has the letters DLF.  What subscription are they talking about and what does DLF mean?

"Free with subscription" means your current service must carry the normal cable-channel that carries those shows.
