HD on demand movie rentals only have a stereo soundtrack???
I rented the HD edition of the movie Dunkirk last night and was highly disappointed that the audio was not in 5.1/Dolby Surround. Is this how all of the HD on demand movies are? I'm a new xfinity customer and this did not make a great first impression. I have a high end audio system and am a bit of an audiophile, so I know it is not the connections between the DVR/Receiver/TV.
Anyone have any insight to this? Should I just rent my movies from Amazon?
Edit: Update. Apparently a recent firmware update had unknowinlgy reset my audio settings for the listening mode that was being used by the X1. I changed it back to Dolby Digital and am now getting 5.1.
