Error Code VM-16

I am receiving Error Code VM-16 and am unable to use On Demand. I received this message yesterday but could not trouble shoot it until today. I did not see the code in the list of codes posted on the Comcast website and am using the link provided on that site to describe my problem.

Although I did not find trouble shooting information on your website I unplugged the box for at least 5 minutes. That did nothing. The code still displays when trying to access On Demand. What is the next step?

I have an error code VM -16 , it's not listed in the error code list , how do I troubleshoot this problem ?

Hi everyone. Thank you for posting here for support. That error code can indicate either a problem with the cable box itself, or an issue with the signal strength getting to the cable box. On demand does run on a different frequency, which is why on demand is not working while your other channels are. A good option to check would be the physical cable cord connections on the back of the box and at the cable jack and if all seems well there, we typically would recommend a technician come out to your premise.
