I recorded several shows on CBS, NBC, ABC, and other networks and went to watch them several weeks later and found the recordings were not there. I had set the DVR to record the whole season of shows, such as Criminal Minds, The Story of Us with Morgan Freeman, the Vietnam series and several more, and haD not watched all of them and the episodes have been converted from DVRs to On Demand.
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? I AM PAYING FOR DVR SERVICE AND MAKE THE EFFORT TO RECORD CERTAIN SHOWS TO BE ABLE TO WATCH THEM COMMERCIAL FREE AT MY CONVENIENCE, AND WHEN I GO TO WATCH THEM RECORDED, THEY ARE CONVERTED TO ON DEMAND??????
who is doing this, comcast, the networks? AND WHY?
I agree, I recorded the Vietnam series on PBS and they slowly converted to On-demand, now I would have to pay for them to view them. I recorded them and I paid for the DVR rental. Shouldn't have to pay for the show, too.
