Can browse On Demand but can't play anything, cablecard on TiVo Premiere.
New account started a few days ago. All the channels come in fine, and the On Demand app loads and I can browse all the categories. But when I choose"Play", it starts to show the program, then a TiVo screen setting to call my cable provider to set up the cablecard.
Multiple signal sends and resets later, it's still not working. They want to send a technician around, but that won't happen for two weeks.
This is not an uncommon problem according to Google. But I haven't seen any posts where someone described how they solved it.
Should I switch cablecards? Is there something that regular tech support on the phone should be doing but don't know they have to do it?
