Back in 2017 or earlier, Comcast arbitrarily removed from customers' services the ability to access personal favorites and playlists remotely, away from the cable box. "Comcast Andrew" said in 2017 that the service might return. So has it returned? If so, how do I access the service now? If not, what was Comcast's motive for ending this simple customer service? Whom do I write to lobby for its restoration?
If you want to see favorites or series schedules on-line, you will need to convert to X1. I don't think they will ever restore it to non-X1. Given the issues with MPEG4 DVR playback on non-X1 DVR's, they are slowly forcing users to move to X1.
