TiVo USER here -16 or so months ago I tried 'streaming' from a Roku to compare PQ streaming vs QAM 'CableCARD'. Until I added an HD fee to my account I couldn't stream in HD. Since TiVo VOD has gone away has that policy changed? Can I stream VOD (no longer available TiVo) without the fee added or is that still a policy? Does this policy change dependent upon device or Comcast service area. Some seem to feel that the app added to LG & Samsing maybe allow VOD & HD content 'streaming' without the HD FEE being noted on their billing . Is 'HD FEE' still an accounting addition displayed on invoicing in all Comcast markets or maybe just selective markets.
I'm TV shopping and 'IF' the app on LG & Samsung differs and offers maybe different options regarding VOD and channel 'streaming' being included maybe it should consider some thoughts.
IS HD FEE REQUIRED AND AN INVOICING ITEM FOR ALL CABLECARD USERS IF THEY'VE NO OTHER XFINITY BOX?
IS IT ALWAYS DISPLAYED AS A SEPERATE INVOICING LINE?
