I have the same problem. Started a few days ago simultaneously on 3 separate Comcast TV adapters. Message comes up every 10 minutes or so for days now. Comcast support had no luck in troubleshooting. Error 800 with boxes saying they need to Update but they don't then go back to normal TV.
