I found the language default setting defaults to Spanish. I can't change it. I tried to turn off the box but it doesn't work. Then there is no sound on some channels and I have to wait for the menu to restore since I turned off the box. Gonna have to call Comcast to fix the language thing.
We had to go through Xfinity Audio Settings.
We have an old box, so for us it was Menu > Setup > Audio Setup > Default Audio Track.
Ours somehow was set to Spanish.
We DID have to turn off Descriptive Video Service in order to switch the Default Audio to English.
Strange. Don't know how that got turned on or switched.
