How do I control my DVD player using my Comcast remote?

How do I control my DVD player using my Comcast remote?

I had a problem using the Comcast remote to change sources on the TV in order to be able to use the DVD player.  So I had to use the original Samsung remote that came with the TV in order to do that - the 'input' button on the Comcast remote won't do the job.  I have lost the original remote that came with the Samsung DVD player.  Is there any way I can use the Comcast remote to operate the DVD player - to start, go back, pause, etc.?  Is that possible?  Thanks for any help.

It maybe possible, you have to program the aux button the same way you would your tv on the remote with the code for the dvd player for the comcast remote.

Try the instructions on this page on how to program your remote.
