Comcast HD PREMIER XF BUNDLE( whats included)

I recently signed up for Xfinity Triple Play with the HD PREMIER XF BUNDLE as discribed on statement. When I signed up the  service Represenative said I would get HBO, SHOWTIME. CINIMAX, STARZ, STREAMPIX AND SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE. pLus 275 channels.  All for $159.00 per month for 2 years. and a $150.00 prepaid Visa card. I told them I wanted  a Email from comcast discribing  this detailed information. I have not received this email so I'm wondering if I should cancel my service before they install it. Does someone know who I can call to get this information emailed to me. I just don't want to call Comcast after the install with out something to verify what I signed up for.

You will not get any e-mail from  comcast confirming anything. There is also no one you can call.

Comcast rarely honors bundles, especially 2 years ones. My 2 year bundle lasted 6 months.

Just hang on to whatever statement you have , and be prepared to fight for it.

They do not make it easy.

Wow, people are so quick to bash Comcast and give wrong/irrelevant info.

 

If you want to confirm what you subscribe to just call anyone. Anyone is capable of looking at an account and reading it off.

And lets see what happens if the OP calls and asks. I am betting no straight answer. They were not asking about what they were subscribed to, they were asking about an offer, completely different.

I'd agree with Barbie here. Comcast have worked long and hard to get the bad reputation it thoroughly deserves for it's customer service.

 

To answer the OP's question, an Email to we_can_help@comcast.com usually sorts out any problems I have in a timely manner.

I've made changes to my account and gotten confirmation emails just fine. If you didn't receive one then they either dont have an email address on file or it was added after the order was entered. Emails are generated automatically by the system, the agents don't click a button or anything.

 

Anyway it does lok to me that all the original poster wants to confirm an order.

Thans for your reply. I've called Comcast at 1.800.934.6489 and they said they would email me a detailed listing of what I will receive for programing. If this dosen't happen I will cancel before the install. I should have received the email already

I've asked twice now for a detailed list of what the HD PREMIER XF BUNDLE that I signed up for includes and they said I will get a email both times. So far I've only gotten a statement that the package cost  $159.00 for 2 years and not whats included. I know what the customer service person said  it included but I really want it in a email from Comcast. I.ve checked out this Bundle online and sometimes it list less premium channels. As much as we want Comcast Xfinity, without comfirmation in writing I'd have to cancel the install. John ....   an unfortunately large number of Comcast employees consistently and repeatedly create the circumstances that result in customers "bashing" the company.    

 

Comcast management allowing unacceptable employee behavior and questionable circumstances to continue to occur year after year effectively creates the appearance of permission or endorsement.

 

 

chaplock1  .... this is the downside to relying on Verbal Agreements, specially over the phone where you don't even know the identity of the individual you made the agreement with, let alone have any proof of the details of the agreement.   

 

If they do send an email detailing the services & pricing that was agreed to, great.     if they don't  Comcast gives you a 30 day guarantee.    So If you don't receive what was agreed to and/or don't receive something detailing your services and pricing, then consider canceling within that 30 days.  (which begins when install is complete).

I'm not saying that he's wrong, I'm just saying that he acts like it's guaranteed that comcast will be incompetant, when there are plenty of times when they are not.

other than Corporate Support (which is most always good),   It seems (or sounds) like west region and part of central typically has good customer service and support, and the rest of comast east and south, not so good or often bad customer service and support.    I'm sure there is good in all areas that can be reported also.   The irony is that it's a lot more cost effective to provide good service & support.

Comcast breaks down support even more than that. For me in Pittsburgh PA, there's a call center right here that handles Western PA, Eastern OH, WV, and a bit of MD. I've never had issues with customer support.

 

This is one of the things that I wish would be tracked, when people complain, what part of the country are they in? If it's only some parts of the country, then it's those parts of the country that are bad, not the whole company, so the bad regions really drag the company down if every report or survey would be regionalized based on where the company operates.

Why can't you understand that NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR STELLAR CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Customers care about their own lousy customer support, not yours. Why can't you understand that???

Sounds like Bruce wasn't just sharing his experience, but actually getting upset that someone was sharing a positive experience because it differs from his negative experiences. I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just tired of people constantly bashing Comcast and assuming that every single customer that ever signs up for their service is screwed in some way or another, when that is not the case, so I share positive experiences.

Everybody is talking about 2 different things. The OP was asking for a confirmation e-mail of an offer made to him from another source, that is not going to happen. It is possible to find out what you have already signed up for.

There are many "sources" within comcast. Lots of Comcast offers have been made that Comcast has refused to honor. I am a victim of that.

I can tell you what's included in the HD PREMIER XF BUNDLE.

 

Yes, it does include HBO, STARX, SHOWTIME, CINEMAX, STREAMPIX and the SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE.

 

Keep in mind that the 275 channels most likely includes both HD and SD versions.

 

In addition, the HD technology fee is included in the price of the Premier XF triple play bundle. Other packages charge it as a line item charge.

 

I have that same bundle and one DVR is also included in the bundle price.

 

Mine also includes unlimited digital voice and  Extreme 105 Internet. Internet tier may vary based on where you are located.

 

Have you looked for that package online under SHOP on comcast.com? If not see if it is there and take a screenshot of the offer.

 

For the record, I have also received emails about service changes, even though I have not changed services. These are sent to me after I call about issues I may be having. I got one last week after I called about a billing issue and Comcast threw me a bone of a service discount for 10 months. Not a big bone, but better than nothing.

Confusion here....What good is an email? chat or call, ComCast has always worked for me. You don't have to get a program you don't want. The service plan gives piece of mind too.

It's about concept of contracts, & getting agreements in writing.   

Many if not most new-customer promotional packages involve service agreements for a specified term, (contract). 

Verbal agreements are worthless if the parties involved later disagree on what the terms of the agreement were.

I was hopefull to get a detailed discription of the HD PREMIER XF BUNDLE in a email or in my Comcast account access.  As it is a 2 year contract I wanted the details in written form so I could print it and keep in my records. After several phone calls with 3 different Customer Service peope and alot of time on phone I've found it impossible to get this information. It's listed as COMCAST HD PREMIER XF BUNDLE at 159.00 for 2 years in my account. It dose'nt  list the 150.00 vista card or all the premium channels. I've given up and may cancel the install. I can only think of 1 reason why they won't supply a written copy of a contract and it's not good . Can anyone think of a  reason that has good business practices behind it.

If a Company refuses to send a written contract as to what your both agreeing to it should make you wonder why. A screenshot of a offering omline even if it's the one your discussing on the phone won't help much when they raise your rates or stop your premium services. A copy of the agreed to contract  in detail, sent to you by Comcast would end all concerns and mis-understandings. It would also do wonders for there image as a responsible company. How can they not do this!!

This is the bundle I have and I did get a contract emailed to me when I completed the upgrade over the phone.  According to the contract yiou can cancel without penalty within 30 days.

people getting a new package/bundle can cancel for any reason or w/o reason with-in 30 days per the guarantee,  regardless agreements or contracts.     Smiley Happy

I certainly would not enter into a contact with Comcast without having some sort of copy of that contract. Have you tried sending an email to "we_can_help@cable.comcast.com"? If you do include:

    Account number
    Full name
    Service address
    Best contact phone number and best time to call
    A description of the problem

A Comcast problem resolution specialist should contact you to follow up, usually by phone.

THEY SAID my Bundle would include all premium programs HBO,SHOWTIME, CINAMAX,  STARZ, SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE AND STREAMPICS + 270+ STATIONS +150.00 VISA CARD. They will comfirm this on phone but will not provide any type of detail in writing, either in email or in your Comcast account pages. It only discribes it as HD PREMIER HD XF BUNDLE 159.99 FOR 2 YEARS. If you search online there are many different plans with this title. Comcast always says you can cancel during the first 30 days. Well, thats great but its the next two years I'm worried about. I'm sure when Comcast builds a building or any other service they don't just do a verbal agreement. and have the contractor keep the only copy of the agreement.

Thanks, I may try that. I really want to have this XFINITY BUNDLE installed but I'm really stuck on this point. There's no reason for them to refuse to show the details of your BUNDLE

can i help make this decision more difficult?     

fwiw :  here's something to maybe ask about as your area may have similar.

.

my area has two choices for both HD Premier & HD Complete triple plays, & both include X1 & dvr (service) & premium channels.    $159.99 for HD Premier,  $199.99 for HD Complete & with each package the choices are,  ...

 

1.   a 2 year term agreement (contract) package that includes the $300 Visa card & price is good for 2 years (although the details & restrictions are somewhat contradictory about price after first 12 months),  

2.   no term agreement (contract) and no Visa card & price is good for one year.    

 

each package price is same with or with out 2 year term agreement.

2 year term agreements likely include early termination fees.

for my area both packages list some of the premium channels but neither specifically list ALL those premium channels you mentioned.   with both packages the fees like HD Tech fee & DVR service fee are waived only for first 12 months.
