Survey could not be submitted

Survey could not be submitted

Trying to pay my xfinity bill. I can't because of the same issue dozens of you have complained of, constantly being redirected to the xfinity wifi on demand website, which is something else, NOT what I want. When I go to Amazon, I don't need to be redirected to Kindle Cloud Reader...

So, no help, no answers. Instead I got a popup asking me to take a poll. Great! Usefulness 1-10, 1. Will I recommend 1-10, 1. I hit the FINISH button and... drumroll...

The PERFECT end to a complete and utter failure to help me resolve my issue in any way.

KUDOS!!

Even more perfect is that we can't see the picture!  But I know what it is;  I see it every time I try to submit a survey.

Re: Survey could not be submitted

Is the screen shot available to all readers of this board?  Anyone care  to share?

Re: Survey could not be submitted

It's one of those that's only visible to moderators and above.  Pretty sure it's a screen capture of the "can't submit the survey" problem, though.

Which doesn't make any sense to readers of these boards.  I'll have to check out the survey the next time it pops up...  and try a submission.

Thanks for the reply..  Smiley Happy

It might be being overused (all 1's) by the 4300+ people reading at least one post about losing Big10 channels in their areas. Actually; the survey worked for me last week.

Where is the picture of: "You can't fix stupid even with duct-tape", when we really need it?

Not particularly exciting or even worth a click... it's just a screenshot of the survey that says, "Survey could not be submitted."

It really sends a message, doesn't it? "We care enough to ask you what you think -- just not enough to listen."

Hmm....even that way, still get the yellow triangle.

Really? Well here's a dropbox link -- after that I give up.

Re: Survey could not be submitted

Hahaha I got another survey pop-up on this forum visit, filled it out...

Maybe anyone who's interested can access the error page directly

If not, it's pretty easy to imagine: a new tab.
Page title: "We value your feedback."

Page contents: the following line in gray (rgb 133,133,133 or #999999 if you're a hexapod) sans-serif text on a white background: "The survey could not be submitted"

Here's a quick mockup:

The survey could not be submitted

Here's the code (if you're not a WYSIWYG enthusiast):

	<span class="lia-link-navigation lia-link-disabled" id="link"><img title="We value your feedback." alt="We value your feedback." id="display" src="/skins/images/A1925C64BE6FA0C8261185D177C48171/base/images/placeholder.gif?version=preview"/></span>
    <div class="lia-survey-thank-you-error">
<h2>The survey could not be submitted</h2>
    </div>

Re: Survey could not be submitted

Oh, and for more -- here's the company that provided the broken survey: https://www.lithium.com/

"Lithium Named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Social Media Management Solutions, Q2 2017"

Verizon and Time Warner Cable are listed on Lithium's Customer Successes gallery... Comcast/Xfinity is conspicuously absent.

Maybe the IT guys flubbed the installation?

Re: Survey could not be submitted

There is one person listed on the forum as "Lithium" expert.

D'oh -- I stand corrected.

Re: Survey could not be submitted

Before yesterday's research, I would've guessed a lithium expert was someone suffering from severe bipolar disorder a la Robert Lowell and medicated with element #3.

Now I wonder whether other alkali metals are being used as company names...?

Sodium: We process food till it's unrecognizable, then put it in cans

Potassium: The finest medical herbs -- you bet your a**

Rubidium: Ebay buyer's remorse? We'll help you get your money back

Cesium: Collections & property seizures are our specialty

Francium: Fine French food importers (France - yum!)
