OK, Xfinity........before I totally get tired of you, I give you another chance! I cannot get any of the videos featured on my homepage!!!!! We replaced the modem/router, thinking this was the problem......no! I still cannot get any of the videos you have for the news, clips of sent in video, etc. No picture and no sound. Just a black screen staring at me. It says the video is "playing now", but you coulda' fooled me! How can I FIX this?????

If you are stictly talking about seeing video on the web at xfinity.com and/or trying to xfinity stream via tv.xfinity.com, then FLASH is required (sadly). I use Firefox, IE (on Win 7), and Chrome. I had to reinstall Flash: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/
If this is not it, can you be more specific for others to try and help you.
I've fixed this issue after finding that my browser's (foxfire) tracking protection and my add-on (privacy Badger) were keeping the videos from loading. Sign of the times on today's internet, you want to watch? then we are going to track you......in firefox you have a shield icon in front the https page address, left click to be able to turn off or on. Hope this helps.
