I have called several times and have not been able to have a rep help me. several years ago I helped my parents set up their comcast service and we used my email at the time because they did not really have one that they used.
fast forward to now when I am living on my own and signed up for service and because I used my email both accounts are now linked, and this is causing issues as I cannot access certain features on xfi because it is defaulting to my parents account information.
I need help unlinking the accounts.
Do your parents have an email address that can be added to their account? That might be a first step in unlinking the accounts.
Thanks the customer service rep I spoke to last removed my email from the account, so currently there is only the comcast email on the account.
