I'd like to be able to make a more secure account password, but the maximum length is 16 characters.

Could someone please inform me as to why the maximum length for an Xfinity acccount password is only 16 characters?

I realize many people don't go anywhere close to that with password length, but I also know that many people don't realize their password probably isn't very secure.

 

I'd like to be able to make a fairly memorable passphrase (a sentence fragment, basically), but I'm obviously severely limited by the upper limit on characters.

I'm not expecting the character cap to simply be increased just because I'm asking, but it would be nice to get an official reply on the topic so I can figure out what the reasoning is.
